The naming rules standard. The design of virtual products requires a large number of cross-professional participation. For the virtual design of the picking robot mentioned in this paper, the attribute naming of components in virtual product modeling and simulation needs to be consistent and standardized. The naming convention standards adopted in this paper are comprehensively considered from the perspectives of mechanical design and software design, and stipulate the naming rules of the same or similar dimensions, functions and materials in the different parts of the robot during programming.
The characteristic properties of the manipulator are parameterized to facilitate the property management of each link of the robot design, and the design is fast. When the user modifies or optimizes a component, it only needs to modify its corresponding feature parameters. The system modifies and updates the design by implementing VC++ real-time communication with Solidwork. For example, modify a certain component of the robot, modify the CAD design of the part through the human-computer interaction design interface of the program, and then save it into the database through proofreading.
Reuse of design knowledge. Users can generate new design knowledge or new parts by recombining or partially modifying existing knowledge.
The virtual design features of the manipulator are compatible with the function of the manipulator, which is beneficial to improve the working efficiency of the manipulator.
